Is there a limit to the number of cats cared for during a visit?
Our Standard Care Visit includes up to four cats. More than four cats requires a longer visit for proper attention. Review our Fees >>
If more time is needed, can I arrange for more visits?
Absolutely. The number of visits (amount of time) you require will be discussed at the initial in-home consultation. Some situations/pets may necessitate more visits being scheduled back-to-back, or morning and evening. An average visit lasts between 30 to 45 minutes and costs $18. If more visits are desired, they will be charged at the same rate... it’s simply a matter of scheduling the time. Review our Fees >>
Do you dispense medicines or administer shots to cats?
We will administer medicines on a case-by-case basis. This would be discussed during the initial in-home consultation.
Do you keep in touch with cat owners during their absence?
Normally owners are not contacted during their vacation, or trip away from home, unless there is a problem. If requested, however, we can e-mail or call the owners.
How does Kitten Sittin’ let me know what happened with my cats while I was away?
Every visit is recorded by the Cat Sitter in the Kitten Sittin’ Daily Diary form. When you return home, you can then read about how your cat(s) spent their time while you were away.
Does Kitten Sittin' belong to any professional associations?
Kitten Sittin’ has membership both in Pet Sitters International and the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.
Do you provide care for other animals besides cats?
The focus of our service is specifically/solely feline care. However, if you have a small fish tank, or a gerbil, hamster, etc. we could consider caring for them on a case-by-case basis. If additional services are needed, a longer visit time may be required. This would be discussed during the initial in-home consultation.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, indeed. We greatly appreciate your business and continuously look forward to growing our Kitten Sittin’ clientele. Our program is generous and simple: You’ll receive a FREE Care Visit for each person that you refer (who uses our services for at least two visits).
Just be sure to ask the referred person to mention your name during their in-home consultation. Then, once the new client referral has booked two visits, we'll reward you with a non-expiring voucher for one FREE Care Visit. It's our way of saying “thanks for the business.”
